Information about the estate

info object

Molodi Estate .

Spacious estate established in 1700's by Count Fedor Golovnin, one of Peter The Great admirals. The only element of the ancient complex is the Resurrection Cathederal, that partly represents "Naryshkin's baroque" style (in 1790's the church was amended with two bell towers). The manor, now in ruins, constructed in 1780's as well as a park. On the edge of XXth century, the estate leased some land to "dachas", summer residences. Famous Russian poeth and Nober prize winner Boris Pasternak had spend some time at one of this dachas in 1910's.
