The estate preserves the beauty and grandeur that once belonged to Alexander Pushkin's mother in law. The poet came here twice to visit the wife's family. Impressive main manor and numerous picturesque ruins reside on the edge of a spacious landscape park. The museum collection was tragically lost in 1941 when offending Nazi army burned the houses with an artillery fire.
