Information about the estate

info object

Bobriki Estate . Alternative title: Spassky, Bobrik-Gora.

Once the main residence of Count A.Bobrinsky (the illegitimate son of Catherine the Great), the Estate is now part of the town. Few classical buildings survived, including one of the smaller wings of the gorgeous palace (used now for a local museum with some interesting collections). Other preserved buildings are baroque-esque Christ The Saviour Church (1778) and the Bobrinsky family mausoleum.
